File compression utility programs

Executable programs and sources codes are compressed in ZIP format. Freeware programs for creating zip files and uncompressing them can be downloaded from the internet.

PET images and raw data can also be compressed to save disk space and for faster copying to CD/DVD or over internet. Usually PET images are compressed to about 50% of the original size.
