Fitting plasma TAC

Mathematical functions can be fitted to measured plasma or blood TAC to make the curve smoother and/or to allow extrapolation of the curve.

How?

The programs listed below can be run in MS Windows or Solaris/Linux command prompt window.

Exponential functions

fit_exp, extrapol.

Rational functions

fit_ratf

Feng et al. function

Model suggested by Feng et al. (1993): fit_feng

Function for short infusion protocols used by Oakes et al. (1999): fit_sinf

Sigmoidal functions

fit_gvar, fit_hiad, fit_sigm.

Computing curves from function parameters
