Quick guide for analysing data with CarimasTurku

Back to CarimasTurku website.
Step 1. Load the data
Step 2. Preprocess, reoritent and crop the data in the volume view window
Step 3. Reorient data in reorientation window
Step 4. Perform the heart's segmentation in ROI definition window
Step 5. Perform modelling in the modelling window
Step 6. Report the result
Step 7. Output the parametric volume
        startup
Note: CarimasTurku only works with the dynamic PET data, static data is not available for the current version.
After loading the data, the volume view window will apear automatically as shown below. Main functions of the step:
           volumeview
            reorientation
            roidefinition
            modelling

            report

This 3D heart of left ventricle, aorta and coronary tree is reconstructed using CTA data (GE Discovery PET-CT) by GE ADW package. The colour on left ventricular surface represents the perfusion absolute value obtained by 15O-water study. Firstly, CarimasTurku generates a heart volume based on heart ROIs and then maps polarmap flow value on the volume of heart, furthermore. CarimasTurku outputs parametric volume as DICOM format and send data back to GE ADW database for performing fuse with CTA.
