int2ecat 2.6 © 2003,2004 by Turku PET Center

Constructs an ECAT image or sinogram file, determined by the output filename, from the short int values of individual pixels in a binary flat file with this matrix order: all planes of 1st frame, 2nd frame, and so on (note that order is different than in dat2cti or cti2dat). The byte order of short int data must be the same as in current platform; use program convend to change byte order, if necessary. Scale factor for all matrices can be specified with option -S. and for each frame separately with matrix information file with option -F. Usage: int2ecat <Datafile> <Output ECAT file> [<planeNr> <frameNr> <dim1> <dim2>] Options: -t=<Advance|931|HR+|HRRT> Set scanner specific parameters -r=<zoom> Set reconstruction zoom (only for images) -s=<Scale factor> All short int values are multiplied by this factor -f=<Matrix information file> ASCII file containing number of planes and frames, x and y dimension and scale factors for each frame. -if=<Interfile header> Read certain information from a interfile-type header -z Zero hot spots outside of FOV (only for images). -p Transpose the data, i.e. switch x and y axis. -e Switch the byte order between little and big endian. e.g.: int2ecat -t=Advance xyz.dat xyz.scn 35 1 281 336 -s=0.000206485 or: int2ecat -t=HR+ xyz.dat xyz.v -fxyz.inf
