1480 WIZARD 3" automatic gamma counter in Turku PET Centre

Manual blood and plasma samples are measured with automatic gamma counter (1480 Wizard 3", Wallac, Turku) in the "blood laboratory" located besides the PET scanners.

Problems and solutions

Wrong isotope in protocol

If the Wizard protocol was made with wrong isotope, the isotope and correction of physical decay in the assay data files can be corrected with wizcorr.

Software does not work with new assay files

New assay files (*.dat) can be converted to the older format (*.t) with wizdat2t.
