FIT TAC file format
Various mathematical functions, e.g. sums of exponential functions, rational functions, or polynomials, can be fitted to the measured PET regional tissue curves, input curves, or plasma metabolite fractions. The files in FIT file format (*.fit) can contain the parameters of different functions fitted to one or more curves.

Calculating DFT curves from function parameters
TACs can be computed from the mathematical function parameters stored in FIT files using fit2dat.
Processing FIT files
FIT file can be converted to result format using fit2res.
A function parameter in FIT file can be changed using fitedit.
